Registration
Registration for 2024-2025 starts February 15, 2024. Register by April 30, 2024 for a $50 discount on your registration fees (full registration is $200/student).
New Student Application: Click on the following link to register online. You will need to create a new account. Once your application has been received, it will go the admissions committee for approval who then recommends your acceptance to the school board. Once it has been approved by the school board, you will receive an email saying your application has been approved and your child will be automatically registered with the school.

Returning Student Registration: You will sign into your PowerSchool Parent Portal and access School Engage through there to verify your demographic information and make any necessary changes for the next school year. This information will be emailed to you. Once you have verified and submitted this information, the registration is complete.
New Students (who are siblings of returning students): Once you are signed into your PowerSchool Parent Portal and have entered School Engage, you can add a new student. This will be an application and follow the same process for approval as all new students.

Full time bussing is available within the city of Medicine Hat and afternoon bussing is available to Redcliff (Mon-Thurs). Bussing fees are $850/family for the full year. Contact the HGCS office to let them know your bussing needs.
