Tami Braman

Position: Principal, 4-9 Home Room, Music Teacher

Certifications: Permanent Professional Alberta Certification

Bachelor of Education - Elementary (Union College through Burman University)
Graduate work toward a Masters of Science in Outdoor and Environmental Education (Alaska Pacific University)

Hi! My name is Miss Braman or Miss Tami (to my students, I answer to either).  I moved to Medicine Hat three years ago from Alaska where I had been working on a Masters of Science in Outdoor and Environmental Education.  I grew up in Northern British Columbia and my experiences there, growing up in the country, have taught me a love for nature and the outdoors.  I taught upper elementary in British Columbia for 7 years before moving to Alaska and have enjoyed my time in multi-grade classrooms the most. My favourite past times are reading, singing, playing musical instruments, traveling, gardening, hiking, and discovering new and interesting areas to explore.  It is my desire to build in my students a love for God, for creativity and learning, and for nature, God’s second book.

Certifications: Interim Professional Alberta Certification

Education: Bachelor of Education - Elementary (Burman University)

Hi! My name is Miss Knopp. Moving here has been my first time in Medicine Hat, and it has been an adventure so far. I graduated from Burman University (formally known as CUC) in 2019. Last year I taught Religious Studies to grades 2-10 at PACeS. This year at Higher Ground Christian School, I hope to build positive relationships with all my students and inspire them to achieve all their goals and dreams. I also hope to help my students grow spiritually as well as have academic excellence.
